Important: C42 is a utility token used for program recognition and access within the C42 Ecosystem.
It is not an investment and does not grant rights to recovered funds, profits, dividends, or assets.
Why “Quality, Not Volume”
Token incentives can attract spam, fabricated stories, and “reward gaming.” That destroys trust and wastes verification resources.
So our program is built around a single goal: validated, outcome-driving contributions.
What we refuse to do
- No automatic rewards for submissions
- No “earn-per-tip” or volume-based farming
- No leaderboards, streaks, or gamified engagement
- No incentive to exaggerate, speculate, or fabricate
What we optimize for
- Evidence-weighted tips (identifiers & documents count)
- Verification milestones (proof before recognition)
- Case bundles that can be acted on responsibly
- Protection-first handling and consent-based follow-up
Core Rules (Non-Negotiable)
These rules keep C42 aligned with seriousness and defensibility.
Rule 1: No reward on intake
Submitting a tip is not a ticket to a payout. Recognition starts only after verification milestones.
Rule 2: Milestone-based, not volume-based
We recognize contributions that can be corroborated and that materially advance a case.
Rule 3: Always discretionary
C42 recognition is not a contractual entitlement. It remains discretionary to protect integrity and safety.
Rule 4: Safety and legality first
We will not incentivize risky disclosures or unlawful access. When in doubt, protect yourself and seek advice.

The C42 Recognition Tiers
Recognition can be granted after verification milestones. The amounts (if any) are not fixed and may be capped.
TIER 0
Intake
No reward on submission.
Your tip enters triage and verification.
TIER 1
Verified Lead
Facts can be corroborated (identifiers, documents, cross-checks).
→ Small C42 (discretionary).
TIER 2
Case Enabler
Your contribution unlocks a publishable / referable / recoverable case bundle.
→ Medium C42 (discretionary).
TIER 3
Outcome Contributor
Your contribution materially advances a recovery, enforcement, or high-impact case action.
→ Larger C42 (discretionary).
Larger tiers may require manual review. If we cannot safely contact you, recognition may be impossible.
Anti-Gaming Controls
We’d rather reward fewer people fairly than create an incentive loop for spam.
Controls we use
- Cooldowns and rate limits on repeated submissions
- Caps per wallet/account and per time window
- Manual committee review for higher-tier recognition
- Duplicate detection and pattern linking (spam suppression)
Evidence-weighted scoring
Useful evidence counts. Vague stories do not.
- Identifiers (domains, wallets, TX hashes, reference numbers)
- Documents and screenshots (redacted where needed)
- Timeline consistency and cross-checkability
- Actionability (can it be verified and routed?)
Do not submit a tip expecting compensation. If recognition happens, it happens because the contribution was verified and outcome-driving.
